Marvel and Walt Disney’s Avengers: Infinity War earned another $1.914 million on Thursday, bringing its 28-day cume to $605.2m domestic. It’ll be exactly one month old on Sunday. And it should celebrate its first month by passing Star Wars: The Last Jedi ($620m) and then celebrate Memorial Day by passing The Avengers ($623m) to become the sixth-biggest domestic grosser (sans inflation) of all time. This weekend is also, both domestically and worldwide, its final box office test. If it can withstand the head-to-head challenge of Solo: A Star Wars Story, it’s probably going to pass the $2 billion mark worldwide and possibly the $2.068b global gross of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
