George Boughey has revealed to the Racing Post that he has completed a ground-breaking purchase of two Godolphin training yards in Newmarket and plans to relocate his ambitious training operation there in 2025.
It is thought to be the first time that Sheikh Mohammed’s operation has sold any racing property in Britain. Boughey has moved in for Craven House and Shadowfax Stables on the Hamilton Road. Both were formerly home to the Godolphin pre-training operation and were advertised at £1.9 million for the pair with agents Windsor Clive.
