Results of the 642 surveys in 2023 found:
53 per cent of buildings have had serious defects in common property. Defects in newer buildings are trending downward since 2020.
The proportion of serious defects reported to the regulator in 2023 has more than doubled since the 2021 survey; 34 per cent of buildings with serious defects reported them to the regulator in 2023, compared to 15 per cent in 2021.

NSW 個驗樓同出入伙紙嘅制度其實唔似香港有屋宇署帶頭把關，之前Sydney嘅樓純粹係靠certifier出cert，但個certifier係builder 請😏，係最近先想改革下有要designer做住宅樓簽字要上身
Castle hill skyview如果做下功課就知個builder 係一個慣犯，其下project都俾fairtrade睇實，而家個老闆已經走佬番左去黎巴嫩
Opal tower其實係大公司做designer （跨國顧問公司），但實情真係落手落腳做design 係一班菲律賓engineer ，而且澳洲好多job都係design and build，做完個structure design跟唔上最新圖則所以就瀨野lor

應該係因為2018 opal tower 瀨完嘢，政府2019 appoint左個新building commissioner 改革，然後不停出去抽查apartment building，特別係針對toplace 呢類doggy builder，然後開佢哋名
