2020 年 10 月26日，游學修、蘇致豪及許賢創立《試當真》 YouTube Channel，短短兩年訂閱量已超越45萬人，累積觀看次數超過一億，更獲得 YouTube 香港 2021 年熱門創作者第一位。

三位創辦人憑著豐富創作及演出經驗，在開台初期靠著短片如《唔准...》系列及《Channel需要...》系列打響頭炮，炒熱不少金句，成為全港熱話。主打劇情短片的「試映劇場」一直深受觀眾愛戴，其中《唔通佢有男朋友》一年間累積點撃量更高達150萬次。另外，還有以創意配音說故事的「試音片」、介紹電影的「試睇電影會」、網羅不同創新題材的「試乜都得」等。台前幕後每週末更有直播節目「試當真謝票場」，與觀眾分享創作點滴，全面將影視文化帶到網絡。

2021年3月，試當真開始製作遊戲節目《試玩毛》，每集約1小時，憑著認真的製作及創意橋段，成功打破與電視台製作之間的差距，為觀眾帶來全港史無前例的大型綜藝節目。目前《試玩毛》系列節目累積點擊量已接近700萬次，成為Channel皇牌節目之一；其中第五集《墨魚遊戲》，首播後兩星期已突破100萬觀看數。

試當真希望，試下藉著認真製作，讓觀眾擺脫對網片的既有印象，將專業一步步注入網片當中，提升作品的獨特性。
另外，試當真亦重視藝人培訓和發展，旗下藝人蘇致豪、許賢、MC$oHo & KidNey、陳苡臻、吳家忻、倪安慈、潘宗孝，出道以來亦廣受觀眾愛戴，個人社交平台的追蹤人數一直上升，除了得到廣告客戶的喜愛，跳出YouTube Channel，進軍樂壇及電視、電影界別。其中MC$oHo & KidNey 在樂壇亦取得好成績，《係咁先啦》及《Black Mirror》等歌曲，MV點閱數目均過百萬，並且佔據各大音樂平台榜單；他們更在《2021年度叱咤樂壇流行榜頒獎典禮》取得佳績，勇奪生力軍組合銀獎。

在2021年10月26日，試當真假九龍灣國際展貿中心舉辦《試當真一週年現場版》，由創新的售票方式，到創意表演橋段及內容，成功佔據各大傳媒報道版面，並贏盡口碑，成為試當真開台以來一個重要里程碑。
