If, like me, you're late to playing this game - don't unless you're an (sub)average gamer. Some lazy/bad game design elements which stopped me from giving the game much more of a chance - just play one of many other unplayed games.
Healing - want to heal in combat? Of course you can. Want to heal out of combat? Nope. Any reason? Nope. Other than to set up a separate feature unnecessarily. They already have a "charge" system in the game that they simply could have applied to out of combat situations.
Buying provisions before each adventure. Your gear is permanent, but for some reason they want everything else to expire after each adventure. Any reason given? Nope. They could have justified food going bad and maybe potions and such expiring, but other items such as skeleton keys and shovels... just gone every time. Stupid and lazy.
Finding these flaws easily and early just means there are other problems waiting to be encountered. Pass. I'll stick with games of actual strategy.
