my friend Sam said he deserved a promotion but instead his colleague was given the promotion because his boss is biased in favour of his colleague. I said that's the way the cookie crumbles. It's water under the bridge. What's done is done. My brother too said it's no use crying over spilt milk. What's done cannot be undone. Apparently his manager is also biased against him but towards his colleague. oh well. Let bygones be bygones.He told me not to mention it when we're in company. By all means. Next week I'll pop over to his place to play his viola. I prefer the company of musicians. Another friend of mine has an interview for a manager position. The company laud stress on the importance of leadership qualities. They also stressed that clear communication skill is a decisive factor in the outcome of the interview. The interview stresses him out. I said "Try not to stress too much over it. Rest easy." My brother too said "Dont stress yourself too much. Put your mind at ease." My girlfriend also said "Set your mind at rest. Don't stress about it. It's going to be ok." He quit his previous job because his colleagues always bullied him and the salary was low. I said "I dont blame you for wanting to leave."
