韋德：簽約騎士時，本想和詹姆斯一起打進總決賽

虎撲12月29日訊 熱火今天在主場118-94戰勝騎士。熱火後衛德維恩-韋德接受The Athletic記者Joe Vardon採訪，談及自己上賽季效力於騎士的短暫經歷。
韋德表示他去年9月簽約騎士時就知道勒布朗-詹姆斯應該不會長期留在騎士：“首先，勒布朗是一個做事謹慎的人。但我知道他的終極目標就是待在洛杉磯。他招募了我，和我聊到讓我簽約那裡（克利夫蘭），我說，’聽著，我知道你可能不會在那裡待很久了，你要成為自由球員了，也許會有些事情發生，屆時我們再討論。‘”
韋德於上賽季交易截止日當天被騎士交易至熱火。但韋德本人表示自己想要重返總決賽，他並沒有提出交易。
“那就是我一開始簽約那裡的目標，”韋德說道，“如果我事先知道那筆交易會發生，我根本不會簽約那裡。這將是我生涯履歷中讓人難以理解的一頁，但它就是發生了。我知道我在那裡擔當了自己的角色，也就是做一名老將和領袖。至少我可以說自己和那裡的人建立了一些不錯的關係。”
詹姆斯和前騎士主帥泰倫-盧都曾在採訪中表示，他們認為韋德本可以在2018年總決賽中幫到騎士。
對此，韋德也很贊同：“當然了，我也是這麼想的。我看比賽時就說了，‘那就是我前往那裡的原因，為了參加這輪系列賽。’”
當被問到他到底為何被騎士交易，韋德說：“我不會隨便提問。”
由於詹姆斯即將成為自由球員，韋德曾預計自己只會在騎士打一個賽季。 “但是，你們知道，事情總可能產生變數，”韋德說，“因此我們計劃展開一番對話。但這次交流本來應該發生在賽季結束後，也就是我們打進總決賽之後。”
不過，在韋德被交易的當天，詹姆斯確實與他共享了午餐。
“情況並不是他直接表態，’哦，你被交易了，我要去湖人了。‘而是像我說的那般，我知道他的心屬於哪裡，知道他的總體思路。”韋德說道。

Andrew Wiggins was booed at home during the Minnesota Timberwolves' 123-120 overtime loss to the Atlanta Hawks.

Wiggins missed a potentially game-tying free throw with 4.5 seconds left in overtime, sparking the crowd reaction. Shooting 75% from the free-throw line on the season, he was 5-12 from the charity stripe for the game.

Following the loss, Wiggins addressed the boos by saying "that’s fans for you. We’ve got some s---ty fans and we’ve got some good fans. That’s just how it works.”

Joel Embiid has decreased his social media trash talking this season, which he says is a sign of how he's matured.

"I don't even remember the last time I really posted anything on social media," said Embiid. "I've been really busy with my girlfriend, just hanging out with her."

Marvin Bagley III will be held out of basketball activities for at least two more weeks. 

Bagley suffered a bone bruise on his left knee in a game against the Warriors on December 14th. An MRI showed no structural damage.

LeBron James was awarded the The Associated Press Male Athlete of the Year for 2018 for his contributions on and off the court. It was third time he's won the award.

Larry Brown is out as coach of Auxilium Torino after a 5-19 record. 

The firing comes after the team was booed by their home fans during a recent loss. They have eight games remaining in the season. 

The 78-year-old Brown was hired last June by the Italian team, his first coaching job since resigning at SMU in 2016 amid NCAA investigations for academic violations.
