2. Read more. Cliche to say but old fashioned way always works. Check out the sentence structure and underline the phrase that you find it useful in numerous contexts, like those phrases linking words together (as long as, given that, consequently, there is no doubt that, stemmed from, not to mention that). Plus, you can build a wide range of vocabulary along by acquiring vocab that widely and commonly used in English speaking country through reading, which makes you sound more British/ American (like a local).
3. Dont complicate things, just grab words and phrases that Brits/ American speak or write, use them to voice your opinions in a clear, straightforward way.
P.S. My English sucks too, not too proud to say I got 7 out of 9 in ielts test but um, it’s the way I survive in English test as well as living abroad. Hope this piece of advice will be of use
