TVLine has learned exclusively that Alexander Skarsgard — whose abusive alter ego, Perry, was seemingly killed off in the HBO dramedy’s Season 1 climax — is expected to return in some capacity. Although conventional wisdom says Celeste’s hubby will appear via flashback, Skarsgard recently hinted at some ambiguity surrounding his character’s fate. Asked about his potential involvement in Season 2, the True Blood vet hedged to http://People.com, “I don’t even know if I’m really dead or not.”

HBO declined to comment for this story.
