A message from Marcelino García Toral
Valencia CF coach Marcelino Garcia Toral would like to publicly share his thanks to the doctors and all of the personnel at San Pedro de Logroño hospital for the care and treatment that he and his family received during his stay. He would also like to thank the traffic police, Logroño's firemen and the motorway help team for their speed and efficiency after the accident which he suffered early this morning when his car collided with a wild boar. Finally, Marcelino would like to share his gratefulness to everyone that has checked up on both his and his family's health.

Atleti's Vietto to Valencia?
Atletico Madrid forward Luciano Vietto could be set to join Valencia despite suggestions he had agreed a switch to Sporting CP, according to fresh reports.
Gil Marin, Atleti’s CEO, told Spanish TV last week that the Argentine forward had agreed a move to the Lisbon-based club but now Valencia are in prime position for a move.
Both clubs are keen to sort out a permanent deal but funds may restrict the move to a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the campaign.
Vietto joined Atleti from Villarreal in 2015 in a €20m deal but has scored just once in 25 appearances, with a season-long loan stint at Sevilla in the 2016/17 campaign.
The Argentine rose to prominence with 20 goals in his debut season in Spain with the Yellow Submarine but has struggled to replicate that form since.

Marcelino convinces Vietto to join Valencia on Wednesday
Valencia are close to confirming the arrival of Luciano Vietto until the end of the season, with the striker travelling to Estadio Mestalla on Wednesday to undergo a medical and sign a loan deal.
Marcelino switched his attentions to him after coming up against difficulties in signing Everton forward Sandro Ramirez.
Vietto wanted to stay in Spain if possible, and jumped at the chance to play under a coach who he already knew.
Joining on on a loan deal until June 30 with a non-obligatory option to buy for a fee between 13m and 15m euros, Vietto's move will also contain a penalty fee if Valencia choose to select him to play against his parent club.
