Dear all,
As my time with the Kitchee SC football team comes to an end this June 2024, I find myself filled with a bittersweet mix of emotions. On one hand, I am incredibly grateful for the privilege of working alongside such a talented and dedicated group of individuals over the past 5 years. On the other, the thought of departing this remarkable club and the relationships I've built here is truly difficult.
When I first joined Kitchee in 2019, I was eager to put my skills and experience to the test. Little did I know that this journey would transform me in ways I couldn't have imagined. Under the exceptional leadership of our esteemed boss, Mr. Ken, I was given the opportunity to not only work with the first team but also contribute to the development of our youth teams. This invaluable experience has shaped me into the coach I am today.
Ken K. Ng, your unwavering vision, strategic acumen, and ability to bring out the best in everyone have been truly inspirational. The trust and support you have shown me over the years have been instrumental in my growth, and I am forever grateful for your guidance and mentorship.
And to Jessica Ng, your tireless efforts to support my family and ensure our well-being during our time in Hong Kong have been truly invaluable. You have gone above and beyond, and I am deeply grateful for your kindness and compassion.
To all the players I've had the honor of working with, your passion, determination, and teamwork have been the driving force behind our achievements. The memories we have created together, from the hard-fought victories to the heartbreaking losses, will forever be etched in my heart.
The Kitchee family has left an indelible mark on me, and I will always cherish the relationships, memories, and lessons I've gained during my time here. I look forward to following your continued journey and seeing the club reach even greater heights.
And to the incredible Kitchee fans, thank you for your unwavering support and passion over the years. Your devotion to the club has been a constant source of inspiration, and I am deeply grateful for the energy and enthusiasm you have brought to every match. I will miss the roar of the crowd and the blue jerseys that have made Mong Kok Stadium such a special place. Thank you for making my time here so memorable.
