If you received your MPF before you ENTERED Canada and considered as a tax resident . You don't have to report that as INCOME for Canadian tax purposes.

A hole in the drywall is an easy fix. I fixed that myself a few times and never cost more than $100.

Dry wall IS NEVER a structural issue.
呢層我就唔識答, 但講起paint, 我好似聽過match到, 甚至啲料已經唔係同一回事(我唯一經驗係香港經歷, 唔作準), 我屋企嗰陣都係另外花錢處理(不過語境非常唔同)...
Difficult to match old paint with new paint. Even if you are able to match the colour, your landlord can say it doesn't match the other walls.
I saved some left over paint when I painted my rooms. I have to touch up some area a few years later. although I used the paint I saved, but the colour still looked quite different.
