Leeds United have confirmed Nick Hammond as interim football advisor on a 3 month contract.

Hammond will assist Leeds with the incomings and departures this summer whilst the 49ers take their time and appoint a permanent replacement for Victor Orta.

Hammond performed a similar role at Newcastle in the January transfer window of 2022, whilst Newcastle waited for a permanent figure to appoint, and he orchestrated the incoming signings of Kieran Trippier, Bruno Guimaraes, Dan Burn, and Chris Wood.
