港英殖民時期真係冇，
不過97回歸後，基本法賦予了香港一定程度的自由同權利，今日是回歸20週年，呢位ching不仿上網了解下基本法，若有意見或疑問，一起討論下。

In Trump we trust

The United Kingdom did the wrong decision to transfer the sovereignty to People's Republic of China in 1997, which is the largest authoritarian regime in the world killing million of people.

It has long been a nightmare to most of the Hong Kongers without any choices. The UK Gov handover HK to the PRC without consulting Hk ppl . Hong Kong people had no chances to determine our own future.

Also, it is unreasonable to "hand over" the sovereignty of the People's Republic of China as Treaty of Nanking is signed by Qing dynasty who is the state party has perished.

More, after 20 years of transfer of sovereignty over Hong Kong, the issues of human right, the rule of law and the freedom become worse than before.

Hong Kong is one of the most important financial hub in Asia Pacific, it shouldn't be allowed to be controlled by the authoritarian communist. Hong Kong people always embrace universal values, including freedom of speech, equality, liberty, diversity......等等, which is completely different from 大陸人..
The promise of offering hk citizens a genuine universal suffrage from the basic law was also destroyed by Chinese gov.

Therefore, we hope the United States, as the first big country, can help Hong Kongers get back their dignity.
