Newcastle United have been keeping tabs on Real Betis forward Nabil Fekir ahead of a potential move this summer, according to a report.
The 28-year-old enjoyed a productive season with Manuel Pellegrini's side, scoring 10 goals and registering as many assists across 47 appearances for the club in all competitions.

The Frenchman has been regularly linked with a move to the Premier League in recent years, including rumoured interest from the Magpies last summer, but no move has yet materialised.

Newcastle in for ‘new’ Lahm
Arsenal and West Ham are facing competition from Newcastle for Aaron Hickey, according to The Express. Matt Targett excelled on Tyneside during his five-month loan stint but the left-back berth is now up for grabs again as his future remains uncertain.
Hickey - who has two caps for Scotland - is one of the brightest prospects in Europe and impressed for Bologna last season. At 19-years-old, signing the former Hearts youngster would be a long-term investment for the Magpies.
Pundits have labelled Hickey the ‘new Phillip Lahm’ after an impressive start to his career.
