呢一題我分享下我自己小小心得 如果有錯靠巴打指正
見到呢啲實驗題一開始就要留意到hypothesis : bee induce flowering by mechanical stress
姑且先唔睇實驗set up 你應該要有一個自己整實驗出嚟嘅sense
而自己set好簡單就係有同冇IDV
eg. set up 1 bee damage
set up 2 no dmg
但呢種情況會有個bug出現 就係證明唔到mechanical stress可以induce flowering 所以佢咬葉=\=用mechanical dmg induce flowering 咁呢個都解釋到點解題目要做埋set up3 原理就係透過證明mechanical dmg會induce flowering去證明hypothesis

然後再睇番題目啲set up會睇到佢特登講到similar mechanical dmg 咁就可以從中推敲到佢想特登造番一個similar result出嚟 呢個應該會係呢題嘅解法

唔知今年會唔會再見呢類題目 但我唸實驗題最重要都係以hypothesis同prediction出發去推番佢係度搞咩

另一個思考方向:

其實呢題係2個實驗黎 有兩個IV 同一個DV

IV 1: bee OR no bee
IV 2: cut OR no cut

最少要有4個set-up



至於解冇左嗰個set up 我都唔知
唔可以assume bee 一定係透過cut去induce flowering

可能佢係屙d野去induce flowering

或者可能出題者唔想考生諗錯隔籬 先冇左呢個set up

想問吓巴打點樣拆2019 competition between apple snail
我自己覺得呢條背後出得算好有深度
題目比兩個graph但冇俾growth rate
反而要求由佢哋mass嘅變化推到growth rate 再到佢哋population 嘅變化
雖然今年應該冇乜機出competition但都想知巴打點睇

巴打呢個思考方式我可以用amylase實驗解釋一下
例如hypothesis: X is an enzyme that catalyzes breakdown of starch
係呢度可以見到兩個IDV 1.enzyme 2.X
所以理論上會有4個set up
1.有X 2.冇X
3.有enzyme 4.冇enzyme(denatured)
到呢度你會發現set up3 係冇可能set-up到 因為你無可能可以係唔帶更多新嘅IDV嘅情況下做到set-up3
正如上面如果做一個蜜蜂唔咬葉嘅set-up 咁一定會做好多新嘅IDV出嚟(eg.蜜蜂放粉/“掂”塊葉)咁就冇咩可能可以用嚟draw conclusion
所以呢個就係同樣得三個set-up嘅原因

如果用番我嘅唸法 就係先唸set-up 1,2 而set-up4 就係為咗證明IDV而造出嚟嘅set-up

Hypothesis: if X is an enzyme, then set up 4 should shows same result as set up2(control)

你logic:

1加X 睇breakdown rate of starch
2如果 X 有影響rate 睇下佢係唔係enzyme
3加boiled X 睇 breakdown rate of starch


我logic:
常識assume 左enzyme 喺一種物質 唔係神秘靈體 所以 X不存在 但喺enzyme 同有enzymatic rate 係廢嘅

用change in average mass (條線嘅斜度)代表growth rate 的確唔係太準 但係題目背後有個assumption 佢亦都可以問你

Q1. What is the assumption that the change in average mass could represent the growth rate?

Q2. Describe another parameter to represent the growth rate.


A1. Food supply is sufficient for the growth/Food is not the limiting factor for the growth. (唔明請Google carrying capacity)

A2. Change in population. (Assume carrying capacity 不變)

Assume rate of respiration is constant
so any change in net release of o2 is equivalent to the change in photosynthetic rate

你呢度就assume carrying capacity is unchange such that any change in growth rate/population is due to the effect of competition

用一邊饑荒一邊唔饑荒去compare growth rate 唔公平

處理方法就係兩邊都要有enough food
兩邊都有最大生長
想intraspecific competition for food 等於0
先可以ensure increase in mass=growth
同埋food 冇limit mass gain

右邊幅圖:

右邊圖係講佢地於同一環境生長
而且environment 轉左 例如突然有旱災 喺右變情況係唔會有data error
因爲旱災對佢地造成同樣影響
喺有limiting resources 嘅情況底下
Growth rate 大啲或者occupied better habitat=more competitive

Carrying capacity 概念有啲複雜 唔好亂咁用

問得呢d多數都3-4分

記住兩個字:

扑野

Describe:
指出 data 重點(1分)

Explain:
1) 有/冇得扑野 多左/少左扑野 扑野機率大唔大啊 reproduce

2) 點解有得扑/冇 (how come) (1分)

3) 扑左/冇得扑有咩結果 (so what) (1分)

4) 回應題目keyword (1分)


例子:

1) 少左扑野 less reproduction

2) how come:
例如
Less population could reach maturity
Decrease in population due to new predator
Geological isolation
Non-resistant species died

3) so what:
例如
Less offsprings
Smaller population size
