The Meyers-Briggs does not test for 16 personality types; it tests for nothing psychological at all. There is no empirical basis for the question development and the MBTI is not empirically linked to anything psychological. It is said to be based off of Jung, but it is not true. It was made as a game which caught on and became a multi-million dollar business due to its fun and unique four letter results which offers you a few complimentary phrases in return for $100. The Myers-Briggs is noting more than a warm-up game for other more serious training. The MBTI has severe flaws including an utter lack of validity, and incredibly low levels of reliability. Reading tea leaves will give you a better idea of your personality.
