During my final round interview with the regional head, he walked me around the whole floor, introducing me to every staff member there was.
I thought I had the job like shooting fish in a barrel. It turned out that they decided to move forward another candidate's application.
Point to note: "definitely get back to you" could well be a doublespeak for "wait for us to send you a regret letter"
