而一般核電廠嘅處理方法都會係等Xe-135喺反應堆入面自行"燃燒"，透過畀佢地吸收中子變成為無害穩定嘅Xe-136同位素，[red]又或者等9個鐘頭半衰期，等Xe-135 decay 為另一隻較低放射性嘅元素：Cs-135[/red] (銫, Caesium)。
