有冇巴打熟777 FBW個elevator trim?
同airbus好唔同,佢係trim個trim-reference speed 好似好複雜咁
Basically you are trim for speed~ example +10 knots increase nose down ~ hit trim switch nose down once, in the opposite -10 knots you trim for nose up, hit trim switch nose up once
Think of how you would trim your Cessna, also FBW already accounts for flaps out or in and landing gear up and down, no need to trim for that
Correct me if I miss anything
Well for every ten knots increase or decrease, until you can fly the plane without any force on the stick and it stay in the same attitude, for PMDG you got a "cheat" which shows "FBW" in blue in PFD to help you trim the 777 since most of us don't force feedback yoke like the real thing
Thanks for your detailed explanation! I am not sure whether I should trim the speed up or down.
I have also consulted PMDG about the trim function, this is its response:
This feature is indeed programmed into the 777 in the same way it is in the real 777. Simply holding the Trim Switch up or down changes the speed target 10 kts and you can actually cheat and select the "Show FBW Target Speed" in the PMDG Options menu if you want to see what speed it actually trimmed to. The only command you would need to map is the standard ELEVATOR TRIM UP and ELEVATOR TRIM DOWN commands in FSX with Repeat set to Full.
