It's likely that he will end up Prime Minister again, but he is probably going to lose a lot of seats in parliament, meaning he will have to work together with other parties. I think this is a good outcome, like I've said above. The blackface thing was big news, but it seems like most people are still going to be voting the same way regardless of it.

I really like this “World” board. I think it serves a great bridge to the rest of the world. Even if not many people end up browsing it from other countries, the fact that the posts are in English means they can be easily shared.

I like Chinese immigrants in Canada, mostly. But one thing that I've noticed is that the demographics of those immigrants are changing. When I was a kid, most Chinese people in Toronto spoke Cantonese and wrote in traditional characters. Now, walking around Toronto, you'll see a lot of signs in simplified characters. This makes me sad, but it's the fault of education in China, not the immigrants.
