nvidia食咗好耐machine learning/crypto mining條水啦,啲產能寧願拎去整礦咭,黃生表示gamer? WFC

不過nvidia都有類似服務係真嘅,我諗大家都預計整個產業往後發展方向係上cloud。

其實economically咁諗,如果位位pc gamer都砌部gaming pc,咁畢竟人平均一日得15/16個鐘係醒,重未計要返工,gpu啲computing power閒閒哋四份三時間係浪費咗,上晒cloud之後 7x24都有人用,少好多浪費,當然service provider會收多筆錢for maintainence/R&D,但計落夠多人用嘅話,少咗浪費點睇都可以平過個個砌部機、大家有賺,其實軟件產業都咁樣轉型咗好耐。

重有樣嘢係無老翻,隻game擺喺cloud,得聲畫落到user部腦,想玩老翻?除非Google/公司有內鬼啦,畀我係受老翻困擾嘅game廠的話,無理由唔全力支持。

係我太open to new technologies定點,都未用過又未有review出就一大班人assume哩樣唔好嗰樣唔好,其實係咩心態,個new service會食咗你?

見過班lawyer望見chatbot答問題,不停插話哩樣唔好嗰樣唔好,我都明,因為new tech真係會食咗佢哋,stream gaming都咁抗拒,不停搵位插為乜

as long as you are using tcp, packet size do not affect latency in noticable way...

1000Mbs/ 1.5kb=0.0015ms..
現代玩ethernet全世界都1500MTU 架啦...
latency 只係光速既物理限制同埋每過一個router ~ 0.5ms

衝出嚟柒,證明你對科技一竅不通,Apple出埋啲consumer product你可以拎嚟J,GCP搞咁多無幾間公司整到嘅infrastructure你唔識,Search/Google Assistsnt做咁多NLP你又唔識,AI/Computer Vision research都係industry leading,你唔識嘛、你淨係識啲consumer goods咪講啲咁無腦嘅嘢,同啲市井呀伯無分別。

佢隻controller係直射singal 返ser會再快一D

而家間間廠都知技術bottleneck就係compression/decression/network latency/input latency三樣加埋總和會影響流暢度

我屋企用rpi裝左個steamlink行local lan 1080 60FPS佢明顯係有compression但唔係continuous gradient係睇唔出有分別, lag既問題完全唔覺有, 當然你話remote到cloud server latency一定會大過我行CAT5E, 不過5G同光纖入屋都係好有potential既solution,你點解覺得搞cloud gaming會唔成功呢?
