一號風球現正生效。天文台表示，位於南海東北部的熱帶低氣壓已命名為「山神」。上午10時，山神集結在香港之東南約470公里，預料向西移動，時速約40公里，橫過南海北部，移向海南島至雷州半島一帶。

天文台稱，按照現時預測路徑，「山神」在下午2時前仍與香港保持一定距離，預計本港風力不會顯著增強，2時前改發三號強風信號的機會不大。天文台會在下午稍後至晚上視乎本港的風力變化，考慮是否需要發出三號強風信號。
