Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia is believed to be currently working on securing a number of transfer targets.
The Blues have yet to make any purchases in the window, though a £35million offer for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani has been made.
Others on their wish-list include Jamaal Lascelles, Leon Bailey, Anthony Martial and Jean Michael Seri. If Sarri is eventually appointed as expected, he will also ask Chelsea to pursue a number of his former players at Napoli.
