You guys have probably seen RDJ's instagram. Its full of apologies from Chinese fans for the most recent posts.
Basically, a few Chinese singers are invited to the event and they sung a few songs for it. Then one of them (Eason Chan) gave a small speech and said something like, "Its my pleasure to be invited to be with...um these guys? Superman? Superheroes? Whatever..."
Before the singers went on stage the hosts also told the actors to step aside, and they finally went applauding aside while the singers got the spotlight.
Finally, during the phototaking, Eason stood at the middle, the singers at one side and the cast on the other. RDJ stood even further aside than spidey. RDJ DID NOT LOOK HAPPY.
Eason also posted on instagram to another celebrity (Hong Kong's fake Iron Man), 'My apologies truly, bro! Didn't get the chance to introduce my great friend Ironing Man to the real Ironman today......but I did share your music/composition with the crowd, please forgive me.'
tbh Eason has always been weird with his humour and his speech isnt like a huge fuck up imo. The REAL problem is with the host - Marvel China. This event is about the Avengers. You don't have to get a fuckton of singers on stage, not to mention they kinda stole the spotlight of the show.
Please tell me if I've missed anything! I'm just pulling bits I've read from Chinese forums. Did not go to actual event.
