McLaren endured reliability issues during testing, problems they thought they’d left behind when they ditched Honda engines last year.
Those setbacks have threatened to have an impact on Fernando Alonso and team-mate Stoffel Vandoorne’s starts to the 2018 campaign.
However, Boullier has revealed Alonso and Vandoorne should have nothing to worry about after the work McLaren have done at their Woking base.
"We didn't have the reliability we had hoped for in winter testing," he said.
"But all the issues we faced have since been addressed back at the factory."
Boullier admits it’s too early for McLaren to be putting loft expectations about podium finishes and race wins on their drivers though.
"We're not expecting miracles to be worked overnight - far from it," he added.
"But what we do know is that we'll give it our all this weekend."
Practice for the Australian Grand Prix starts on Friday, with qualifying for Sunday’s F1 race taking place on Saturday.
