>Kanto is bigger than ever, each city having more than 20 buildings - but you can only go in 5 - 7. This includes Pokecenters and Pokemarts.
>Pikachu and Eevee will not be able to evolve, and you cannot box them. They are a permanent part of your team.
>Only the first 151 Pokemon will be included in this game. However, you cannot catch "evil" Pokemon, such as Zubat, Koffing, and Meowth. These are reserved for Team Rainbow Rocket, which is now led by Jessie and James.
>There are only 5 Pokemon gyms this time around, as to cater more to newcomers and children. They only have two Pokemon, and they each only have 2 moves.
>You no longer battle Pokemon in the wild, as it works exactly like Pokemon Go. Your Pokemon gain experience regardless, gaining a 2x experience boost compared to regular trainer battles.
>You cannot transfer any Pokemon from other generations into the game, until they are added in a bi-yearly DLC update, each generation costing $9.99.
>You get to play 5 online battles for free. After that, each online battle will cost 99 cents each. Packs are added ranging all the way up to 300 dollars for 250 battles.
>Trading as been fully replaced by Wonder Trading. This of course is limited up to 3 free trades before you have to pay 99 cents, as per battling.
>Pikachu gains "Friendship Bolt" as a new move, which has 99 PP and is super effective against everything. Once you KO a Pokemon with this move, Pikachu's stats are maxed out. It gains this move at Level 5.
>Eevee instead gains a new ability called Multifur. Once it is hit by an attack, it cannot be hurt, except by entry hazards. Eevee has been given Rapid Spin to compensate for this.
>And finally, the game is split up into 5 chapters. Chapters 1 and 2 are included for free upon release, however extra chapters must be bought via expansions for $24.99.
