#ARRESTS | Five teenagers have been arrested after we carried out warrants across Solihull and Birmingham this morning.
Officers from the Solihull Neighbourhood Crime Team, and the Chelmsley Wood Neighbourhood team, carried out warrants across multiple addresses in connection with bike robberies.
There has been an increase in the number of motorcycle and pedal cycle robberies across the Solihull Borough.
Three 17-year-old boys and two 16-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of robbery offences, following the warrants this morning.
All five remain in custody for questioning.
Sgt Mark Heard, from Solihull Police, said: “This is an intrusive and distressing crime, and it will not be accepted.
“We want to reassure the community that we are investigating, and targeting the offenders.
“The warrants this morning show that we will not accept this offence taking place, and will work to bring those responsible before the courts.”
We are particularly keen to gather any dashcam footage which could help us find those responsible for these incidents.

第二次爆門之後,朋友發現新裝嘅門鎖已 經卡住,自己都開唔到門,於是打電話叫 消防開門。當時消防話收費£120,但講明 只係材料費,不包人工。最終收到張bill, 總共收費£250(合理?)。
朋友當晚打包行裝,第二日搬離單位,甚 至打算回流香港。
事後佢同業主講退租,業主話佢自己都試 過三次俾人入屋打劫,對當地人嚟講呢啲 情況好常見。現實係對中東、南亞或白人 施襲者嚟講,英國監倉已經爆滿,就算捉 到,刑罰都唔重,冇乜阻嚇力,捉完通常 又好快放返出嚟。我朋友遇到果班人,有 黑人、有白人、有中東人。
我朋友尚未平復情緒,所以代post
