I’m writing to express deep disappointment regarding your recent selection of a Hong Kong bar that serves only English-speaking patrons while actively refusing to communicate with Cantonese speakers. This practice is not only exclusionary—it reflects a troubling form of linguistic discrimination in a city where Cantonese is the cultural and linguistic heartbeat.
