退休後，Young接受多個國際司法任命，包括2022年短暫擔任迪拜國際金融中心法院法官，後因人權組織關注而辭職。他還擔任塞舌爾、薩摩亞和斐濟的上訴法院法官。2025年，他被任命為香港終審法院的非常任法官，成為該法院六位來自其他普通法司法管轄區的非永久法官之一。呢條友都係後知後覺
