Turkmenistan national team midfielder Ruslan Mingazov has expressed his desire to help Hong Kong football club "Kitchee" achieve success after extending his contract until 2026. This was reported by the Telegram channel “About Football in Turkmenistan”.
"To be honest, I already thought that I would leave the club at the end of the season, but in the end I managed to agree to sign a contract for another year. I am very happy and want to help the club achieve success and regain the champion status," said the 33-year-old footballer.
Mingazov stressed that he would make every effort to achieve the set goals. "I hope that we will fight for all the trophies in the next football season. "Kitchee" is my home club, I feel at home. Of course, I am glad that the family also feels comfortable in Hong Kong - this is a great opportunity for all of us," the footballer said.
The Turkmen player's new agreement with the Hong Kong team runs until the summer of 2026.
Mingazov has been playing for "Kitchee" since April 2022. During this period, he played 68 matches in all tournaments, scored 34 goals and made 23 assists.
According to the Transfermarkt portal, the footballer played 30 matches for the national team of Turkmenistan, scoring 6 goals. The player's transfer value is estimated at 200 thousand euros.
