A few days ago, I came across a statement from the U.S. and Israel on international media—a statement that ‘condemned’ Iran’s pursuit of regional influence and criticized our defensive measures.
Yet, the U.S. and Israel are the very entities that destabilize the Middle East with their aggressive policies and military interventions. Humiliating as it may sound, we (being steadfast in our resistance to their hegemony), naively expected their rhetoric of peace and democracy to hold sincerity.
What makes this so humiliating is that the U.S. and Israel claim their actions are for “global security and stability,” but they are the ones who actively perpetuate chaos by imposing sanctions, launching airstrikes, and saying, “大家都知哈梅內伊根本做唔到啲乜出嚟.”
We concede that Iran is not without challenges in its policies, but we are a nation striving to protect our sovereignty and advance our people’s aspirations.
We welcome genuine dialogue and constructive criticism toward our actions, but not imperialist powers trying to undermine all the efforts we have poured into building a resilient nation.
