Police are dealing with an outbreak of 'serious disorder' in Salford this afternoon (June 11), as witnesses describe seeing groups of youths blocking the road.
GMP say one person as been arrested and a police car has been damaged in the Lower Broughton Road area. A vehicle was seen on fire and a number of others have been damaged.
A witness estimates about 50 to 60 teenagers and young people are 'hanging round' at the scene and a dispersal order is now in place around the Lower Broughton Road with police warning 'behaviour of this nature will not be tolerated'.
