When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of the colt, the rider advised that FLOOD ZONE (USA) never travelled well throughout.

A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities, however an endoscopic examination revealed a degree of EIPH that may have affected the performance.

American speed stallion Cogburn will stand his first season in Australia at a fee of $27,500, Widden Stud has confirmed.
