BREAKING: #ManCity have accused the Premier League of distorting the competition in favour of Arsenal, Brighton & Hove Albion, Everton and Leicester City - who have benefited from huge loans from their owners - in a new statement issued to an independent tribunal at the end of March - which the league sent to the 19 other clubs in the last 24 hours.

#ManCity claim that shareholder loans at Arsenal, Brighton & Hove Albion, Everton and Leicester City have not been treated the same as other Associated Party Transactions (APTs).
However, the tribunal concluded those rules were “void and unenforceable” and Manchester City now argue that there needs to be a return to the pre-2021 rules until these matters are fully resolved.
Manchester City argue that the amended rules “fail to meet the requirements of transparency, objectivity, precision and proportionality, and are liable to distort competition”.
