While last year’s King Stand Stakes winner Asfoora is on a path to return to the iconic carnival, connections of several other horses that were considering Royal Ascot tilts have had to abort their plans due to injury.

He is hopeful Coolmore Stud and trainer Chris Waller will consider an international campaign with G1 winner Switzerland if the glamour colt returns to form after unplaced runs in the Black Caviar Lightning and Canterbury Stakes.
