Taiki did the right thing. A lot of people complaining on him hurting their "best girl" when in fact Taiki didn't even love her in the first place. The reason why he didn't immediately reject her was because Hina kept saying to him that it's fine if he shouldn't give her an answer to her first after her confession and keep making the moves on him because she knows at the back of her mind that she lost to Chinatsu ages ago. The only fault of Taiki here was he was too nice and considerate for his own good and he didn't want to hurt Hina's feelings because she's an important friend to him.

This a realistic take on romance because even if you're friends with someone and likes them romantically it's not guaranteed that it would be return by that person 100%. I'd rather see Taiki ending up with Chinatsu than getting together with Hina because of guilt and pity.

睇完24話真係好虐心
但就算勉強一齊，大喜心入面始終有學姐
咁樣對Hina都唔係好
愛上一個無結果嘅人就是苦
