第三間本地放射相關課程有望開辦

【都大獲撥款7,700萬港元開辦診斷放射學與機器人及自動化工程兩個新課程　HKMU secures HK$77 million in funding to launch two new programmes in diagnostic radiography and robotics and automation engineering】

都大致力透過專業教育，培育未來人才，配合政府推動高端人才集聚高地。教育局最新一輪「自資專上教育提升及啟動補助金計劃」向都大撥款逾7,700萬港元，資助於2026/27學年開辦「診斷放射學榮譽理學士」及「機器人和自動化工程榮譽應用理學士」兩個新課程。

都大校長林群聲教授非常感謝政府，連續四年撥款資助都大開展不同類型的課程發展，今年獲資助金額較去年增加逾一倍，反映都大在培育專業人才，切合行業需求方面的努力，獲得政府信任及予以肯定。

HKMU is committed to nurturing future talent through professional education, supporting Hong Kong as an international hub for high-calibre talents. In the latest round of the “Enhancement and Start-up Grant Scheme for Self-financing Post-secondary Education” by the Education Bureau, HKMU secured over HK$77 million in funding to establish two new undergraduate programmes in 2026/27: a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Diagnostic Radiography and a Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours in Robotics and Automation Engineering.

Prof. Paul Lam Kwan-sing, HKMU President, expressed his gratitude to the government for providing funding support to the University for four consecutive years to develop different types of programmes. This year’s funding is more than double that of the previous academic year, reflecting the Government’s trust in and recognition of HKMU’s efforts to nurture professional talent to meet industry needs.
