This was a quality interview. Slot is a great talker. I just wanted to touch on the segment between 2:40 and 3:10, where Slot talks about needing more patience when facing a set block that isn't jumping too much. I think the majority of Liverpool's midfielders have been top, but if they are to properly go for the title, they need a 'pass-first' central midfield player. Zubimendi, Locetelli, someone of that calibre, on the ball. I feel like he's been asking TAA to do this more, hence why he's having less final third involvement than the first few games, he needs that quality to lift the ball, spread the block, and create the gaps to cut through. They're still a great team though with good depth, exceptional running power, ball-striking and a great blend of power and technique in defence.
