經過籌備委員會昨晚會議商討，基於賽事的商業考量，決定將原定於9月2至4日舉行的中國香港國際籃球邀請賽2024延期舉行，具體的新舉辦日期，將在確定後儘快公佈。我們深知此決定必將為各參賽球隊及觀眾帶來不便，對此我們誠摯地表示歉意。
退票安排：
所有已購票之人士，請將購票收據及聯絡電話，電郵至contact@hkcibt.com，將會有專人安排退票。如有任何查詢請致電：97150838
Based on the commercial considerations discussed by the Organizing Committee in their meeting last night, it has been decided to postpone the Hong Kong China International Basketball Tournament 2024, which was originally scheduled to be held from September 2-4. The specific new dates for the event will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
We fully understand that this decision will cause inconvenience to the participating teams and spectators, and we sincerely apologize for this.
Ticket Refund Arrangements:
All ticket holders are requested to email their ticket receipts and contact information to contact@hkcibt.com, and a dedicated team will process the ticket refunds. For any inquiries, please call: 97150838

港產NBA G League中鋒大衛穆卡（David Muoka）出席NBA籃球教室時宣布好消息，他表示將取得香港特區護照，最快11月可代表港隊出戰FIBA亞洲盃外圍賽。另據消息人士透露，楊和亦正申領香港特區護照，料港隊實力將大幅提升。
在香港土生土長的David是尼日利亞與英國混血兒，就讀香港西島中學，他隨後負笈美國轉戰NCAA。他在去季為G League的長島籃網披甲，並於6月投入NBA選秀名單，雖最終落選，但也獲機會代表布魯克林籃網參加NBA夏季聯賽。
