David Muoka

Originally from Hong Kong before attending prep school in Canada, Muoka started his college career at Lamar University. As a sophomore, he was named Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Year for the 2020-21 season after recording 5.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game before spending his final two years at UNLV.
Muoka went on to be selected 3rd overall by the Capital City Go-Go in the 2023 NBA G League Draft. The 6-foot-10 center appeared in 38 games with the Long Island Nets across Winter Showcase and regular season action, averaging 4.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per contest. He recorded 2+ blocks in 13 of those games, including a pair of career-high 6-block performances. He came on strong down the stretch for the Nets, settling into a key role for their run in the G League Playoffs and averaging 8.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steals across their three games. The 23-year-old big man is seeking to become the first NBA player from Hong Kong.
