Ubisoft has unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming Assassin's Creed Shadows, set to launch later this year.
The trailer introduces the game's two protagonists: Yasuke, a samurai of African descent serving Japanese warlord Oda Nobunaga, and Naoe, a shinobi initially at odds with Yasuke due to her opposition to Nobunaga's war.
Previously known as Assassin's Creed Red, Shadows follows the Assassin's Creed roadmap alongside titles like Jade and Codename Hexe.
While details on Codename Hexe remain scarce, Assassin's Creed Jade, a mobile game developed by Tencent Games, has faced delays but is still in development.
