We would like to bring your attention to an important update regarding Microsoft's storage policy for Office 365 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/education/products/microsoft-365-storage-options) that applies globally to all educational institutes. Effective from February 1, 2024, the OneDrive capacity limit will be capped at 100GB.

We understand that this storage limit change may have an impact on your usage. Please check your HKU graduate connect Email account OneDrive usage. If your OneDrive usage is already over 100GB, please reduce your OneDrive usage to less than 100GB. Otherwise, your OneDrive will become read-only starting February 1, 2024 as Microsoft will limit the OneDrive quota to 100GB that you can only read or delete data at your OneDrive account. If your OneDrive disk usage is already less than 100GB, then please keep your OneDrive usage below this limit.

Please note that starting December 1, 2024, the OneDrive service will cease entirely. As a result, all data associated with your OneDrive will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. To safeguard your data and avoid any potential loss, kindly ensure that you download your files from OneDrive and store them in a separate location well before the date.
