That is the flag proposed by far-left political party UPLG (People's Union for the Liberation of Guadeloupe) since 1978, a party which as you can imagine advocates for the independence of Guadeloupe from France, and this is the flag they propose, which is essentially the same as the Suriname flag but with the star on the left rather than the middle.

Tel was born in France but his parents are from Guadeloupe, an overseas department and region of France in the Caribbean.
