Amrabat interest remains but depends on departures
Manchester United are ready to make a move for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat although it's likely to depend on departures first.
There has been no formal offer from United for the player yet but the club are encouraged by Amrabat’s desire to join and won’t be swayed by interest in the player from elsewhere.
Fulham remain interested in Man Utd midfielder Fred and are expected to re-open talks over signing him.
They held discussions earlier in the window but decided not to pursue a deal at the prices being quoted.
Galatasaray were also interested in signing Fred, but couldn’t agree a deal with United or the player.
Fred hasn’t featured in pre-season since coming off the bench in the 1-0 victory over Lyon on July 19.
Meanwhile, negotiations are ongoing between Real Sociedad and United over the signing of midfielder Donny van de Beek.
Talks are over a loan with an option to buy.
