Hong Kong was declared as the best city with the best transport service in the world, according to the study conducted by consulting firm Oliver Wyman.
Hong Kong topped the worldwide ranking public transit sub-index based on the volume of traffic, network density and infrastructure quality.The sub-index includes measures how well cities are maintaining mass transit networks and how many commuters use it.

As the leader in the ranking, the Oliver Wyman noted of Hong Kong’s affordable transport network that has high station density and a strong rail network for the city’s large population.

“It’s a popular mode of transit among commuters, despite the fact that it isn’t available 24/7, like in some cities,” the report said.
