以前BA同維珍係有請Hong Kong base cabin crews,負責HKG-LHR航線,VS嘅香港crews亦會飛埋HKG-SYD,即係LHR-HKG-SYD袋鼠航線,所以每班香港機都會有兩至三個香港空少、空姐。但好景不常,兩間公司都先後摺咗HKG base。
有啲公司如果見某啲航線有大量乘客需要語言支援,就會喺當地請language speaker ,負責特定航線。BA同VS而家會唔會喺香港航班assign Cantonese speakers,真係唔知。
乘客有特殊需求,係可以預先通知航空公司,佢地會盡量安排嘅。而家有啲公司仲會有iPad, smart phone 俾執勤嘅機組人員、地勤,有語言翻譯app,盡量幫助語言不通嘅乘客。
樓上巴絲講得啱,喺機上需要對答嘅情況唔多,商務位最多只係點餐,你可以教定兩老,或者寫定啲中英對照基本對話。飛香港嘅機多香港人,兩老可以請通曉中英文嘅乘客幫忙,空姐見唔對路,都會搵乘客充當翻譯。同埋,空姐飛慣世界各地,咩人都見過,身體語言加手勢都大概可以應付到。
我飛過一次,有乘客唔舒服,但機上無人識中文,空姐做廣播搵人幫手。為答謝我幫忙,佢送咗張gift card俾我,有幾千miles
。
俾大少少貼士你,識做嘅乘客,買盒朱古力、糖、曲奇等禮盒,寫張卡仔,寫埋座位號,上機時送俾空姐,佢地就會特別關照你
