第46屆香港國際電影節於八月重新啟動
HKIFF46 Announces August Reboot


香港國際電影節協會宣布第46屆 #香港國際電影節 將重新啟動，於8月15日至31日舉行，為期17天，在戲院與網上與影迷再聚。而本地著名平面設計師 #陳華雄 亦再度操刀，為電影節創作主題設計。

原定於3月31日揭幕的第46屆香港國際電影節，因政府年初收緊社交距離措施以應對嚴峻疫情而被迫延期，改於八月舉行。故此，往常在同一時期舉行的夏日國際電影節將暫停一屆，並於明年復辦。

設計師陳華雄去年以燕子為主題設計，寓意香港電影愛好者如候鳥歸來，懷抱新生的希望重返電影院。今年他則選香港常見的小鳥「麻雀」為題材：「靈巧活潑的小麻雀，在日升月落間忙於翱翔天際，有如你我香港人，為追尋美好生活而努力，懷抱夢想奮鬥。」

一如去年，第46屆香港國際電影節將繼續以實體及網上混合模式舉行，為觀眾帶來不同的觀影體驗。完整節目將於7月公布。


The Hong Kong International Film Festival Society announced today that the 46th Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF46) would take place over 17 days from 15 to 31 August 2022, connecting with audiences again through cinemas and online platforms.

Initially set to commence on 31 March, HKIFF46 was postponed when the Hong Kong government imposed stringent social distancing measures to combat the rising Omicron outbreak since the beginning of 2022. The Cine Fan Summer International Film Festival, which usually takes place around the same time, will make way this year for HKIFF46 and return in 2023.

"Sparrows are sprightly and charming, and they can be found in Hong Kong throughout the whole year," Frank Chan explained. "They are just like us Hongkongers, busily flying around, from day to night, striving for a better life and reaching out for our dreams."

Like last year's HKIFF45, the hybrid festival will feature in-person and online screenings and events. The Society will announce HKIFF46's complete programme in July.

郭富城連續第四年擔任電影節大使
Aaron Kwok Returns as Ambassador


香港國際電影節協會宣布第46屆香港 #國際電影節 將重新啟動，於8月15日至31日舉行，為期17天，在戲院與網上與影迷再聚。
金像金馬多元影帝 #郭富城 將連續第四年擔任電影節大使，今年再度請來國際知名跨媒體藝術影像攝影師 #夏永康 拍攝全新宣傳造型照。

對於繼續擔任電影節大使，郭富城表示十分榮幸，並祝願今屆跨越挑戰後再創新猷。他表示：「香港國際電影節嚴選世界各地新舊佳作，讓香港觀眾與優秀電影緊密連繫，在亞洲是備受注目的電影節，非常令人期待。」

繼2018年第43屆香港國際電影節後，郭富城與夏永康再度合作，對此他感到非常開心，認為彼此間充滿默契。他續稱：「新冠疫情反覆，過去兩年對每個人來說都充滿考驗和挑戰，對我們電影工作者的影響尤甚。我鼓勵大家保持樂觀態度，積極面對，希望電影工業儘快復甦起來，大家有更多好電影可以分享，我會全力為電影節推廣，並祝願各位平安健康。」


The Hong Kong International Film Festival Society announced today that the 46th Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF46) would take place over 17 days from 15 to 31 August 2022, connecting with audiences again through cinemas and online platforms.

The Society also welcomed the return of #AaronKwok as its festival ambassador for the fourth consecutive year, coinciding with the launch of HKIFF46's key visual.

Kwok re-united with internationally-acclaimed visual artist #WingShya for a series of photographs to promote HKIFF46 – the two had collaborated previously in 2018 for HKIFF43. Kwok said he was honoured to be the ambassador again, and he was keen for the festival to do well after its success last year. There is no better platform for the Hong Kong public to reconnect with the best cinema offers, he said.

The last two years have been challenging for everyone because of the COVID-19 pandemic, not least for those who work in the film industry. It is important to stay positive and, with productions resuming gradually, I am seeing signs of a recovery, despite the recent setback with the Omicron outbreak.

As local cinemas reopened following the relaxation of social distancing measures, the Cine Fan programme will resume in May! In addition to the previously-cancelled complete #Angelopoulos retrospective and the #Lubitsch special, the May/Jun/Jul edition will also feature the second part of “ #Kieslowski : The Serendipity of Life” film course with nine lectures focusing on the Polish master filmmaker’s most acclaimed films. HKIFF46 spotlights Sandra Ng as Filmmaker-In-Focus


第46屆香港國際電影節（HKIFF46）的焦點影人，是以諧星形象深入人心的香港演員 #吳君如。從影至今演出電影超過一百四十部，成為香港電影史上累積票房收入最高的女演員，她不僅創造了無數經典喜劇角色，兼任幕後製作人同樣能獨當一面，展現當代女性靈巧多變的面貌。

今屆電影節現定於2022年8月15日至31日舉行，焦點影人回顧展將放映吳君如參演的十部作品，出版專題特刊，並與長期合作夥伴Moleskine攜手推出特別版筆記本。她亦將應邀出席香港名家講座，分享她演藝生涯的故事與心聲。

香港國際電影節協會總監利雅博表示：「吳君如一直敢於挑戰不同角色，由豁達妓女、黑幫首領以至慈愛母親，以細膩演技呈現平凡人物的非凡層次。她在演藝事業的蛻變，見證着香港主流電影工業的更迭起伏，憑女性觸覺及個人意志自創新天，成為華人地區最具影響力的女星之一。我們很榮幸能夠邀請她成為第46屆香港國際電影節的焦點影人。」


The 46th Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF46) will pay tribute to iconic actor-director-producer Sandra NG as this year’s Filmmaker-in-Focus.

Re-scheduled to 15 - 31 August, the postponed HKIFF46 will celebrate NG’s illustrious career with a retrospective of ten seminal works, the publication of a commemorative book and, in collaboration with the festival's long-term partner Moleskine, a special edition notebook. NG will also attend a Face-to-Face session to share her insights and anecdotes with the public.

“The evolution of Sandra's career, from acting to directing and producing, reflects her multifaceted calibre and acumen and evidences the transformation of Hong Kong cinema, Mr LEE said. We are proud to recognise her indelible contributions.”
