My understanding on digital RMB is that it serves as digital wallet, which resembles cash. How it could avoid US sanctions? (I guess you meant digital RMB could replace banks, and thus avoid sanctions? But that's not the case since digital currency cannot provide general trading finance like LC or revolving facilities as well as wiring)

中國並不在爭取取代美元地位，而是當中國GDP超過美國三至四陪，其他國家必然會增持人民幣作為外匯儲備，呢個係過去歷史發生緊的事情，從Dutch ,英鎊到美元。10年來中國都唔會希望美元大幅貶值，所以會繼續買美國國際，來平衡匯率

Digital rmb is sovereign currency fully backed by the state, and does not require a bank account and has full oversight by Chinese bank. The digital rmb exchange would not need to use SWIFT, the messaging network monitored by US gov. So, basically, if China want, every body can exchange rmb via Bitcoin like blockchain network for digital rmb.

That's what I mean. Digital RMB acts as Cash instead of Bitcoin. There will not be another market aside from current available FX market for RMB.
And what I am interested the most is how to avoid SWIFT? (btw, it HQ in Belgium, not the US) How the CCP could establish a global clearing house before free exchange of RMB?
