Race 1: Regent Glory put in a pass mark in his first start, moving from Sha Tin to Happy Valley may be a positive and the horse draws nicely. Island Shine is a non-winner, but is always dangerous when running on. From gate 8 he will probably settle in the last few, but look for him peeling on the turn.

Race 3: Travel Datuk generally runs competitive races from outside draws, Poon has ridden him to a win and second in two of his 3 rides on the horse. Winmore Star is by So You Think so you would think he would get better out over further, liked the way he cruised up to win a trial recently so keep safe.

Race 4: Savaquin has won twice at the track/distance and presents nicely for Purton who has ridden him 3 times for a win and 2 seconds. A competitive race, but Savaquin is adaptable and can win from on or off speed.
Savaquin – 2 units - $4.60
Race 5: Two we are keen on here, Telecom Rocket loves HV and 1200m at Class 4 is generally his go having been around 7 times this prep and not finished worse than 4th. A wager needs to be had on The Anomaly, the horse opened his campaign with a win at HV before being far from disgraced at Sha Tin. A wide draw, but has showed at his first two starts that he is capable of a big finish.

Race 6: Fa Fa stands out from gate 2, got back to second last start and nearly reeled in Manna From Heaven, hopefully a better run from the gate tonight and he can pounce the last 150m.
Fa Fa – 3 units - $2.50
Race 7: Stoicism look to get a great trail into this, there is speed around with the 5,8,11 all possibly going forward, Stoicism will get a sit on them and hopefully the last shot.
Stoicism – 2 units - $7
Race 8: Exceptional Nice goes to the front and may have some company in Telecom Fighter, I am hoping the former goes home the better. Helene Wisdom Star is very adaptable and can win from 9.

Race 9: Here Comes Ted was the eye-catcher last start, he is a must, in a competitive race also keen to back Decisive Twelve, he is unknown around HV, but been very good over the 1200m at Sha Tin recently.
